Our feature event is the Narooma Oyster Festival, a home grown event that has become NSW South Coast’s premium food and wine event and southern NSW largest annual event.
Over its 15 year history, the festival has become a vibrant cultural experience in a stunning natural environment, celebrating NSW’s own gastronomic hero – the rock oyster – alongside other oyster species, seafoods, local produce, all while creating a platform to showcase the passionate folks who produce them.
In May 2022, a record crowd of 10,000 gathered, feasting on 64,000 oysters and contributing over $3m to the local economy.
In September, River of Art’s 10 day program expanded to include Luminous: Art After Dark, the largest laser, light and animation performance the region has ever seen. The inaugural night event was a huge success and we were thrilled to deliver our signature multi-estuary tasting plates and other tasty dishes to both the VIPs and festival goers.
Our destination dining series is in development, promising to exquisite oyster and produce experiences in amazing locations throughout Rock Oyster Country and beyond.
